Global Business Summit for 2nd time in Dubai September 29-30

The GBS will be held in collaboration with NRB CIP Association to connect businesses with investors and business communities across the world.

Business America, a US-based publication, will organize the second Global Business Summit (GBS) in Dubai, UAE from September 29-30 at the Crowne Plaza.

The summit will be held in collaboration with NRB CIP Association to connect businesses with investors and business communities across the world.

The theme of the summit this time is “Connect Your Business.”

Syeda Farya Rasul, executive editor of Business America, told Bangladesh Protibedon that in a summit like this the whole world will be able to know and observe Bangladeshi products. They will find out about prospective sectors for investment.

“This summit is an opportunity for the business community to enhance their trade internationally,” she aded.

At the same time, prospective startups will also get the opportunity to find out about each other thus creating opportunities for the overall development of Bangladesh. “The GBS will be another milestone towards the dynamic development of Bangladesh,” she also pointed out.

Bangladesh has been acknowledged as a country having immense potential but in order to release this potential, planning and budget play a pivotal role.

While it has planning capacity, but lacks the capability to finance these schemes, said a press release issued by Business America.

Currently some 100 export processing zones (EPZs), an initiative of the current government, are in progress.

It is not just a question of having EPZs, trading must commence also and for that huge amount of investment is required. The hunt for investment revealed that foreign investment is mandatory to run these EPZs since the local fund is insufficient. Thus comes out the fact that more than 1.2 crore are either working or doing businesses worldwide.

They are the major source of the Bangladesh budget and its GDP.

The country has received more than Tk185,000 crore as remittance from abroad in 2020.

At present Bangladesh has a reserve of more than $41 billion.

Bangladesh is currently standing in the 44th position in terms of highest GDP. At the same time if everyone leaves for abroad there will be no one behind the wheel of the economy in Bangladesh. Keeping these aspects in mind Bangladeshi entrepreneurs living across the globe, in association with NRB CIPs have arranged the 2nd GBS in Dubai.

The government is awarding best entrepreneurs with the CIP title to acknowledge their contribution to the economy.

The Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRB) who are also Commercially Important Persons (CIP) for Bangladesh are working on attracting more foreign investments into the country.

The GBS has become a reason for celebration of both the local and NRB entrepreneurs.

Business America aims to promote all entrepreneurial efforts of Bangladeshi businesses, located globally.

This summit is not only being attended by NRBs but also by resident Bangladeshi entrepreneurs having a common dream of a developed Bangladesh. Source: Business America
